I don’t really understand when voting closes but from the looks of it you can still vote. Tonight is it! For years other fandoms (What I meant to say was Twilight) gone home with the grand prices. This year the Hunger Games is a great contestant but we’ve got to win this!
Don’t get me wrong. I’m not trying to create any conflict between the fandoms because that’s ridiculous if you ask me. Congratulations to the Twilight Saga for their success and I, myself, is indeed a fan of the Hunger Games. But they will get their chances next year or in years to come, Harry Potter won’t.
What this is really about is that for me (and I’m guessing for a lot of other HP-fans) this is really the final showdown. It’s not about winning over other fandoms, it’s about getting to finally pay tribute to the Harry Potter franchise. This is the very last time they’ll be up for an MTV award. This is our chance to say thank you for doing this for 10 years, thank you for portraying our favourite characters so well, this is how much we love you and appreciate you.
Come on, Potterheads. Let’s pay this final tribute to all the cast and crew behind our childhood.
